About DIR-2
Under Section 152(5) of the Companies Act 2013, no person can be appointed as a director unless they have given their consent in writing. Form DIR-2 captures this consent along with the proposed director's personal details and confirmation that they are not disqualified.
The signed DIR-2 is filed as an attachment to the SPICe+ Part B application. It is a physical form signed by the proposed director and uploaded as a scanned PDF.

- Full name, father's name, and date of birth
- Present and permanent residential address
- PAN and DIN (or DPIN)
- Nationality and occupation
- Declaration that the person is not disqualified under the Companies Act 2013
- Signature of the proposed director
