A specimen signature is a sample signature provided by the authorised signatory of the company for EPFO (Employees' Provident Fund Organisation) registration. It is submitted as part of the AGILE-PRO-S form.

About the specimen signature

During EPFO registration via AGILE-PRO-S, the authorised signatory must provide their specimen signature. This is used by EPFO to verify signatures on future PF-related documents and filings. The specimen signature is submitted as part of the AGILE-PRO-S form on the MCA portal.

The specimen signature must be on a plain white background, clearly visible, and must match the person's regular signature used on official documents.

Requirements

  • Signature of the designated authorised signatory (usually a director)
  • Must be on plain white paper or within the designated field in the AGILE-PRO-S form
  • Clear, legible, and consistent with official documents
  • Submitted as a scanned attachment in JPG or PDF format, under 2MB
